The Buffalo office of Lippes Mathias LLP seeks an ambitious attorney with two+ years of experience for an Associate position with our Banking and Financial Transactions Practice Group. The Banking Practice Group at Lippes Mathias LLP is a comprehensive and experienced legal team, aggregating bank and borrower-side expertise and providing an invaluable tool for lenders and borrowers alike. The duties will focus on handling a wide variety of sophisticated financial transactions with an emphasis on secured transactions, commercial real estate financing, mezzanine loans and loan participations and syndications.
Strong skills in communication, confidence, legal advocacy skills, and satisfaction from working in a team environment are required. Experience with secured transactions is required. Strong academic credentials, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills are also required. The attorney selected for this position must be a self-starter and will have the opportunity for direct client contact.
Applicants should have not less than two (2) years of Real Estate/Banking experience with demonstrated ability to handle specific tasks such as negotiating and drafting loan documents, closing secured transactions, etc. A New York bar license is required.
Salary range DOE: $95,000 - $110,000
The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
