Job Description

Growth Executive (Licensed Attorney)
Holt Law - The Law Firm Built for Healthcare Businesses®

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Account Executive who holds an active law license. If you previously transitioned out of traditional legal practice because you prefer the results-driven world of business development, this role allows you to leverage your legal expertise to build trust and your professional instincts to close new engagements. Holt Law is a premier boutique health law firm serving practitioners and businesses in Minnesota, California, and across the United States. You will be the face of the firm for new clients, driving growth while capitalizing on your legal credentials.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 per year.
  • Commission: 2% of Attributed Gross Revenue. Commissions are paid out quarterly.
  • Earning Potential: 2026 Estimated OTE (On-Target Earnings) is $176,800+ in addition to base salary.
  • Time Off: 18 days of PTO plus 7 paid holidays annually. After 1 year of employment, employees are eligible for flexible time off.
  • Health & Retirement: 50% premium coverage provided by the Company, and a 3% Company matching contribution to an IRA (base salary).

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Requirements

  • Sales Track Record: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales with a history of hitting performance quotas.
  • Legal Credentials: Hold a J.D. and an active license to practice law in a US state.
  • Legal Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience previously practicing law.
  • CRM Proficiency: Minimum of 1 year of daily professional experience using HubSpot (or similar CRMs) for pipeline management.
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to translate complex healthcare law into actionable value propositions for prospective clients.

Nice-to-Have Attributes

  • Specific Licensure: Active license to practice law in Minnesota or California.
  • Geography: Physical residence near San Diego, CA or the Twin Cities, MN.
  • AI Literacy: Experience using AI and comfort with prompting for AI-assisted tasks.
  • Marketing: Interest in contributing to firm content creation, including video and thought leadership.

Firm Culture & Accountability
At Holt Law, we operate with the focus of a professional sports team—we support each other deeply while maintaining a high standard for our work and our mission. We use the EOS model to ensure everyone has a clear roadmap and the tools needed to stay aligned as we help healthcare entrepreneurs build their futures. We value professionals who are energized by growth over comfort, and absolute ownership over minimal accountability.
Your performance and eligibility for advancement are tied to visibility: meeting established target conversion rates, maintaining established benchmarks for data accuracy in HubSpot, and meeting established benchmarks for case acceptance rates by the delivery team within the designated clawback window.

Success Roadmap & Career Progression

We provide a documented path for advancement within the organization:
30 Days (Integration): Complete internal training on healthcare law value propositions and delivery team acceptance criteria, achieve HubSpot CRM proficiency, and shadow 10+ initial consultations.
60 Days (Execution): Take full ownership of the intake pipeline, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to signed engagement letters while maintaining strict data integrity within HubSpot.
90 Days (Impact): Consistently achieve established monthly conversion and case acceptance targets, and contribute to one strategic refinement of sales scripts or intake processes.

Future Advancement

Upon consistently exceeding conversion targets for 12 months, you will advance to Senior Sales & Intake Specialist to take on complex enterprise leads and mentor new hires. As we expand nationally, we will need leadership roles like a Director of Business Development overseeing the sales and revenue department and refining firm-wide pricing strategies.
