Job Description
- Lead legal efforts related to redevelopment and public finance projects
- Draft, review, and negotiate redevelopment agreements and related legal documents
- Advise governmental entities on state and federal tax incentive programs
- Handle complex, structured financing of redevelopment projects
- Represent clients in matters related to bond issuances and capital projects
- Attend client meetings, including occasional evening sessions
- Engage directly with clients to deliver timely and strategic legal guidance
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey
- 7+ years of experience in New Jersey redevelopment law and public finance
- Strong background in negotiating redevelopment agreements and handling structured finance deals
- Experience advising governmental entities and navigating state/federal incentives
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
