About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level to senior Legal Operations / Contract Operations professional for a 3-month assignment supporting a sophisticated corporate legal environment across multiple teams and practice groups. This individual will step in quickly to support contract negotiation, CLM administration (Sirion Labs or similar), contract operations, and workflow execution, while helping drive process improvements, reporting, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a legal, corporate, or managed services environment, is comfortable handling multiple priorities, and can independently track, execute, and complete work once trained.

Engagement Details

  • Contract Length: 3 months
  • Schedule: Part-time or Full-time (flexible)
  • Time Zone: CST – morning hours required
  • Level: Mid-Level to Senior

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Negotiation & Administration: Support and assist with contract negotiations, redlines, amendments, and contract lifecycle activities
  • CLM / Contract Systems: Administer and support Sirion Labs or another CLM platform, including intake, routing, tracking, templates, and data maintenance
  • Project Management: Manage contract-related projects, timelines, and deliverables across stakeholders
  • Contract Operations: Handle contract intake, triage, tracking, execution, and close-out activities
  • QA/QC & Data Accuracy: Perform quality checks on contracts and contract data fields to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to independently prioritize, track, and execute work once trained

Additional Skills Preferred (Nice to have)

  • Reporting & Metrics: Build and maintain reports and trackers related to contract volume, status, SLAs, and cycle times
  • Playbooks & SLAs: Support development and use of contract playbooks, clause guidance, and SLA management
  • Workflow & Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable process improvements
  • Calendar & Inbox Management: Coordinate calendars, manage shared inboxes, and ensure quick response times

You Should Apply If You Are/Have: 

  • Immediately available for a short-term placement and thrive in a fast paced environment supporting teams across multiple U.S offices
  • 4–8+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Contract Operations, Contract Management, or related roles
  • Background working in a legal, corporate, or managed services environment
  • Experience with contract negotiation and administration
  • Strong English speaking and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Hands-on experience with Sirion Labs or any CLM platform
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office 365 (intermediate to advanced skills)

Requirements

  • Minimum: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 3–8+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Contract Operations, CLM Adminstration, Contract Management, or related roles
  • Experience with contract negotiation and administration
  • Hands-on experience with Sirion Labs or any CLM platform
  • Strong project management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong English speaking and written communication skills
  • Background working in a legal, corporate, or managed services environment
  • Ability to independently prioritize, track, and execute work once trained
