A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Attorney to join its expanding Intellectual Property practice. The successful candidate will work with innovative biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, and research -driven clients on sophisticated patent matters involving cutting -edge life sciences technologies. Role & Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/h3>
  • Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Develop and manage strategic patent portfolios for biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Advise clients on patent protection strategies throughout the innovation lifecycle.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work directly with scientists, inventors, research institutions, and in -house counsel.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with attorneys across a nationally recognized intellectual property practice.<\/span>

      $220,000–$265,000, depending on title, experience, scientific credentials, qualifications, and other job -related factors.

      Requirements<\/h3>
      • J.D. from an accredited law school.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Admission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office required.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Active bar admission in MA.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Master's or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Approximately five or more years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in a law firm environment.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Demonstrated ability to independently draft high -quality patent applications and manage complex prosecution matters.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Excellent analytical, writing, communication, and client counseling skills.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Senior Associate, Counsel, and Junior Partner candidates are encouraged to apply.<\/span>
