Overview Responsibilities Qualifications
The focus of this role will be in the Legal Department. In this role you will assist the legal department in a variety of tasks to support ongoing corporate transactions and compliance matters. The intern will work closely with in-house attorneys and gain exposure to a wide range of corporate legal issues.
Tasks:
- Organize and maintain document databases and schedules
- Assist with customer ESG survey requests
- Participate in document review for litigation
- Help draft policies and agreements.
- Track legal matters and provide reporting on legal department metrics.
- Assist in development of legal share point site.
Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks until they are completed
- Conduct research and complete projects
- Participate in professional networking and meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Have an interest in corporate law and contracts
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Applicants must have the ability to work in person.
