Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Overview: A well-established law firm in the heart of Manhattan is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Attorney with at least 4 years of experience in handling personal injury cases in both New Jersey and New York. The ideal candidate will be barred in both states and possess a strong track record of success in personal injury litigation. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in the office, offering the chance to work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, from initial intake through trial.
• Represent clients in both New Jersey and New York jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Prepare and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while striving to secure the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients, explaining the legal process and guiding them through complex legal matters.
• Stay current with developments in personal injury law, including changes in state-specific regulations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience handling personal injury cases in both New Jersey and New York.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in both New Jersey and New York.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, including experience in litigation, settlements, and trials.
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines effectively.
