Job Description

The Senior Recruiter, Talent Acquisition for Professional Staff will develop and execute end-to-end recruiting strategies to hire talent for several functions across all US offices. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Senior Recruiter will collaborate with senior leaders and HR colleagues to drive a best-in-class experience for both hiring managers and candidates.

This Senior Recruiter will play a critical role in attracting, assessing, and retaining top talent across several key functions, including Finance and Operations.  As a talent advisor, the Senior Recruiter will collaborate with hiring partners to understand business needs, identify talent gaps, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.

This role is hybrid and requires two days onsite in the New York office. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and practice leaders to understand current and future talent needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.  Align on core competencies, target profiles and potential talent pools based on a thorough understanding of business needs.

  • Oversee the full cycle recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, with a focus on high-potential and leadership roles.  Communicate effectively with candidates and hiring leaders, provide timely updates and maintain rigorous documentation on candidate interviews, calibrations and offer proposals.

  • Leverage competency-based assessments to differentiate talent and identify strong candidates; support interview calibrations and provide insights on candidate qualifications, expectations, and selling points.

  • Build strong relationships with candidates, internal stakeholders and external partners.  Proactively engage candidate pipelines and establish networks to source candidates for current and future positions.

  • Keep abreast of current competitor landscape, industry trends and market insights to evolve recruiting strategies and articulate STB’s value proposition and opportunity to candidates.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Management and Compensation team to determine salary ranges and appropriate offers.

  • Leverage data and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage full-cycle, high volume recruiting efforts and partner with Talent Acquisition Operations to track key performance metrics.

  • Contribute to annual headcount planning process, in collaboration with HR Business Partners and department leaders.

  • Collaborate with HR Analytics & Compliance teams on regulatory and reporting requirements.

  • Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition and HR initiatives as needed.

Skills

  • Extensive experience proactively utilizing a variety of TA tools and techniques to source and identify prospects and candidates

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders

  • Exceptional organizational skills and effective time management; ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent negotiating skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR information systems; Workday experience preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition in a fast-paced environment; professional services background preferred

  • Proven success in recruiting for Finance and Accounting functions highly preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred

Salary Information

NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $165,000 at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
