Job Description

We are seeking bilingual English & Spanish speaking Legal Assistants, Legal Secretaries, Paralegals, or Case Managers who enjoy working with people, staying organized, and keeping things moving. You will be involved in many aspects of day to day operations and will stay closely connected to each client and case, so you can see your impact from start to finish.

You Will:

Be a main point of contact for clients

  • Answer and place calls, respond to emails and texts.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, adjusters, trustees, and opposing counsel.
  • Provide updates in a calm, professional, and empathetic way

Handle new client intakes

  • Interview potential clients and gather basic case information
  • Use our intake templates and questions.
  • Help determine where each lead fits in our practice

Support legal work and case files

  • Help draft letters, demand packets, motions, and other filings (often from templates or attorney notes).
  • Organize and maintain digital case files and documents
  • Request and track records and documents from clients and third parties.

Manage calendars and scheduling

  • Schedule consultations, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Calendar hearings, motions, depositions, and important deadlines.
  • Make sure the attorney has what is needed before each event

Follow up and keep cases moving

  • Check on documents, treatment, and case status.
  • Follow up with potential clients who contacted us previously.
  • Keep simple status lists and updates so nothing falls through the cracks.

You will be trained on our systems, case types, and scripts. You will not be expected to know bankruptcy or personal injury law on day one, but experience in those fields is a definite PLUS.

Necessary Requirements

  • MUST be fluent in both Spanish and English. This is MANDATORY.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage many small tasks without getting overwhelmed.
  • Professional, warm communication style on the phone, in person, and in writing.
  • Respectful and patient with people who are stressed, injured, or under financial pressure.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive about keeping the attorney informed.

Salary
  • $20 - $30/hour
