Job Description

Dragonfli Group is a cybersecurity and IT consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC. We specialize in supporting both federal agencies and Fortune 500 enterprises with secure, expert-led solutions. Our team works across diverse engagement models—on-site, hybrid, and fully remote—on contracts that range from several months to multiple years in duration.

Dragonfli Group is seeking multiple eDiscovery Project Leads to support a federal agency navigating complex legal challenges. This contract-based role offers a unique opportunity to lead full-spectrum eDiscovery initiatives across the EDRM—from initial data collection through final production and trial readiness.

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted subject matter expert, delivering strategic guidance, overseeing technical workflows, and ensuring that every detail—data integrity, review protocols, compliance standards—is executed with precision. You’ll collaborate with attorneys, litigation support teams, and external vendors, managing tight deadlines while upholding the highest quality standards.

We’re looking for professionals with 5+ years of hands-on eDiscovery experience, including leadership of large-scale federal or commercial matters. You’ll need to be fluent in tools like Relativity, Casepoint, Everlaw, Veritas, and Microsoft eDiscovery, and confident navigating SQL, Nuix, and processing/production protocols.

This is a remote role and requires eligibility for a federal security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage full-spectrum eDiscovery projects across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), from data identification and collection through processing, review, and production
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor to client stakeholders, legal teams, and technical partners
  • Design and oversee defensible workflows that comply with federal and legal discovery requirements
  • Translate legal objectives into technical execution plans, ensuring alignment across litigation support teams and vendors
  • Construct advanced search queries and manage custodial data across multiple tools and platforms
  • Supervise day-to-day tasking from assignment queues, ensuring quality and timeliness under tight deadlines
  • Facilitate client communications, status reporting, and issue escalation
  • Oversee data processing efforts, ensuring chain-of-custody and compliance with ESI protocols
  • Lead QC and validation processes across productions, reviews, and exports
  • Contribute to documentation, training, and internal process improvement
  • Support secure collaboration environments, compliant with government IT and security standards
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including outside counsel, internal litigation support, and IT security
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of eDiscovery/litigation support.
  • Experience with eDiscovery services spanning across the EDRM (File to Trial).
  • Prior knowledge and experience managing eDiscovery projects and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to train on Veritas and Microsoft eDiscovery including data management, constructing search queries, processing, production, and quality control.
  • Supports legal teams with data collection, review workflows, and litigation databases. Familiarity with platforms like Casepoint, Everlaw, and Relativity is key.
  • Advanced experience planning eDiscovery efforts, managing client expectations, and working with clients to meet deadlines.
  • Independently work on requests from a queue/assignment, to ensure immediate turnaround times.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Must have proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining tight deadline priorities.
  • Must work as a team with multiple vendors to provide on-time deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and planning skills.

  • Experience using COTS e-Discovery software to process and load, review and analyze data around litigation, investigations, and create export/productions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/PowerApps, Adobe Acrobat and document/discovery applications.
  • Must be proficient in a wide range of technologies and be knowledgeable as to eDiscovery industry “best practices” including an understanding of multiple tools and processes associated with large scale complex eDiscovery response.
  • Oversees data processing, ensures compliance with ESI standards, and manages large datasets using tools like Relativity, Nuix, and SQL.
