Job Description

Trueline's client, a respected legal services organization in Florida, is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join their team in advocating for victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and other crimes. This role offers an opportunity to significantly impact vulnerable individuals' lives through legal representation and support.


What You'll Do as the Immigration Attorney:

  • Represent clients before U.S. immigration courts, USCIS, and state courts
  • Conduct thorough client consultations and case preparations
  • Analyze case outcomes and develop appropriate legal strategies
  • Manage large caseloads and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Supervise paralegals and oversee case progress
  • Prepare legal documents, including appeals, motions, and petitions
  • Participate in outreach efforts and case acceptance meetings
  • Maintain clear communication with clients throughout their cases
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training


You'll Succeed as the Immigration Attorney if you Have:

  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in a foreign language (highly desirable)
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Commitment to serving vulnerable populations
  • Experience in immigration law and/or family law (preferred)
