About the RoleAs Marketing Counsel, you are a foundational member of the Legal team, delivering practical, business-focused legal advice that supports the company’s daily operations and strategic initiatives. You work closely with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks, ensure compliance, and enable business success. Your role is essential in helping the organization operate with integrity, agility, and efficiency while navigating a dynamic regulatory environment.What You'll Do
  • Provide legal advice and support on marketing initiatives, creative services and talent engagements ensure compliance with applicable law and regulations. 
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements related to marketing initiatives, creative services, talent services, design collaborations, consulting services, new media, influencers, models, photographers, technology, finance and e-commerce, to ensure alignment with legal standards and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate legal risks in new and ongoing marketing and loyalty initiatives.
  • Support internal investigations, audits, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of legal training and awareness programs.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business planning.
Who You Are
  • Licensed to practice law; 5+ years of experience in a reputable law firm and/or in house
  • Strong foundational knowledge of commercial law, including experience in drafting, negotiating, counseling and problem solving a broad range of commercial transactions relating to marketing and advertising, influencer and other talent services, consulting services, and other partnerships.  Preference for experience with SAG-AFTRA issues and/or adtech issues.
  • Ability to deliver clear, practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
