This entry-level position is ideal for a junior attorney with approximately 1 year of in-house legal experience, looking to expand their knowledge of real estate and corporate transactional matters (i.e., sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, leasing, development and/or business operations) and contract negotiation in a collaborative and fast-paced business environment.

What You Do:

(Duties/Responsibilities)

  • Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of real estate and corporate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, financing agreements, leases, construction and development agreements, property-level agreements and vendor contracts.
  • Support real estate closings, including review, tracking, organization and delivery of closing documents and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Conduct diligence of title and survey and work closely with title companies to support real estate transactions.
  • Perform legal research and prepare memos or summaries on a variety of real estate and corporate topics.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, hospitality, development, and finance teams to provide practical legal input on day-to-day matters.

  • Support compliance with applicable zoning, land use, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on select matters as needed.
  • Provide general legal support to the legal team and take initiative on special projects as assigned.

This job description does not imply that the listed duties are the only responsibilities to be performed by the employee in this position. Employees may be required to carry out other job-related tasks assigned by their supervisor or management.

  • Strong interest in real estate transactions, title/survey review, and corporate legal support.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on precision in document drafting and review.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience with construction-related legal matters is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
