Job Description SummaryThe Commercial Director will report to Commercial Leader for Channels and will be responsible for leading key commercial initiatives across three areas:
(a) Managing Gas Powers portfolio of Authorized Channel Partners (ACPs) (resellers, distributors, and sales representatives)
(b) Co-leading the commercial work stream of GE Vernova’s Legal Entity simplification (LES) strategy.
(c) Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) – lead due diligence activity for certain proposed acquisitions, mergers, or divestitures as related to the Commercial function.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities include:

Authorized Channel Partners (ACPs)

  • Lead onboarding of new ACPs or the renewal of existing ACPs in compliance with GE Vernova’s applicable policies.
  • Ensure that appropriate due diligence activity is performed & approvals are coordinated with the appropriate leadership teams.
  • Manage a holistic program for ACP Portfolio ensuring timely renewals, extensions or terminations and identification & mitigation of risks.
  • Identify and drive process & tool improvements to enhance efficiencies for ACP management.
  • Promptly address claims made by ACP and settle as appropriate.

Legal entity simplification (LES)

  • Identify customer contracts or guarantees impacted by the planned restructuring.
  • Establish a tracking process, contract repository, provide supporting documentation,
  • Collateral and guidance to commercial team as needed.
  • Project manage execution per the project schedule.
  • Support qualification & activation of incoming GEV legal entity in customer’s process and systems.

Mergers and Acquisition (M&A’s)

  • Lead and perform pre-sign integration, diligence and planning.
  • Lead and perform post-sign and pre-close integration diligence and planning.
  • Lead and perform post-close integration implementation work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 additional years of experience in a commercial function with exposure to contracting and evaluating Terms & Conditions.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $128,400.00 and $213,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
