Senior Paralegal - Hybrid
This position will provide professional legal support to the Department of Legal Affairs ("DLA") litigation attorneys. This position will monitor and manage all aspects of investigations and litigation, in partnership with attorneys, and exercise independent judgment in determining and recommending courses of action based on matter type, carrying out those actions, and bringing matters to closure. This position will lead or participate in document review as necessary to support various legal matters, and requires the ability to independently utilize various platforms and document management systems used by DLA, including for discovery and reporting purposes. This position will request needed documentation and information from business partners to ensure that the attorneys have all necessary information/material to complete their work/analysis/review. This position requires a high-level of communication intelligence and frequent interaction with DLA, business partners, outside counsel, third party vendors, and business associates. Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program Or Certificate from a paralegal program at, or a degree from, an accredited secondary institution which requires at least 24 semester units in law-related courses.
- 5 years Paralegal experience in a relevant practice area with an in-house legal team, or equivalent experience in a law practice setting.
- 5 years Demonstrated experience performing substantive legal work for multiple attorneys in a relevant practice area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Paralegal Studies / Law / Legal Studies
- Upon hire: Notary Public Designation/License
- 2 years Exposure to the health care industry working with large integrated health systems

Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $40.11, Max: $62.27
Washington: Western : Min: $41.81, Max: $64.91
