Duties As an Associate Warden, the incumbent is responsible for exercising control and supervision of various aspects of the institution's functions, which may include oversight of Federal Prison Industries. The incumbent acts as Warden during his/her absence. As an advisor and assistant to the Warden, the incumbent plays a major role in the determination and establishment of policies and programs involved in institutional operations. The incumbent assists in setting broad policies and developing procedures to conduct programs of the entire institution. The incumbent approves and submits reports and recommendations to the Warden on personnel and administrative matters. The incumbent's direct areas of responsibility are outlined in the institution's organizational charts. This position requires broad knowledge in the correctional field and wide knowledge of various institutional activities. The incumbent is subject to geographic relocation to meet the needs of the agency. Salary- $124,531 - $161,889/year
