This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Ali Awad Law, P.C. We are currently looking for a Litigation Paralegal in North Carolina and South Carolina (USA).
This is a full-time, remote litigation paralegal role ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in personal injury law. You will manage case preparation, discovery, and client communication while supporting attorneys through the litigation process. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment. You will play a critical part in ensuring cases proceed efficiently, deadlines are met, and clients are well-informed. Accountabilities
- Draft complaints, discovery requests, and responses to support personal injury litigation cases.
- Manage service of process, coordinate with process servers, and monitor compliance.
- Schedule and calendar depositions, hearings, trial dates, and leaves of absence.
- Draft and file standard motions and responses to motions.
- Conduct client update calls and maintain regular communication regarding case status.
- Follow up on non-party discovery requests and assist in trial preparation.
- Ensure litigation timelines are tracked and deadlines are consistently met.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in personal injury law.
- Strong drafting skills, including complaints, discovery responses, and motions.
- Proficient in calendaring, noticing depositions, and managing litigation timelines.
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote environment.
- Fast typing skills and comfort with digital case management systems preferred.
- Energetic, outgoing, and highly organized with a focus on customer service.
