We have been selected by one of the world’s largest and most prestigious global law firms with over 2,800 lawyers worldwide to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager. This high-profile manager will lead strategic U.S. and global business development efforts for the firm’s renowned and market-leading Antitrust group. Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing and Business Development Antitrust and Global Lead Client Feedback Program, the role will oversee two direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute U.S. and global initiatives to expand business opportunities, enhance client engagement, and strengthen relationships;
- Brand Management and Visibility: Drive visibility through events, sponsorships, content creation, submissions, and lateral attorney integration;
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with U.S. partners to deliver actionable insights and strategic support in targeting new business opportunities;
- Thought Leadership: Create messaging and campaigns that showcase the practice group's expertise, strengthen market positioning, and engage target audiences through innovative programs and communications;
- Market Insight and Growth: Utilize subject matter expertise to identify client needs and vulnerabilities, align them with market trends, and develop outreach programs to drive growth and revenue.
Credentials and Expertise:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required;
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years in marketing, business development, or pursuit management within a law firm or professional services organization, with a focus on Antitrust, Competition, Litigation, or Regulatory practices;
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills are essential for success;
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to generate creative, effective ideas, influence and motivate teams, build strong relationships in complex environments, and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
