Real Estate Paralegal

We continue to experience significant growth and require the assistance of a Real Estate Paralegal to directly support a Partner in our Real Estate Department. This Paralegal can join us in our Mount Kisco office.
Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
Assist with legal research
Draft legal documents
Handle discovery demands and responses
Calendar meetings, court appearances, depositions, deadlines
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff and other third parties as necessary
E-filing for state and federal courts
Oversee service of process
Directly support Real Estate Partner with paralegal, legal assistant and executive assistant responsibilities
Act as liaison between Real Estate Department partner and department associates
Act as liaison between Real Estate Department partner and attorneys in other practice areas within firm
General administrative duties; filing and scanning; assemble litigation papers; maintain matter files in electronic systems
Required:
Minimum of five years of experience as a paralegal
Bachelor's degree or higher
This position is full-time in-office Mon-Fri.
Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
Experience with e-filing, in-person filing, and procedural rules at downstate Surrogate’s Courts.
Ability to problem-solve procedural and calendaring issues on the fly with minimal supervision.
Experience with Clio, NetDocs, and HotDocs a strong plus.
Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
