  • Participate in and prepare internal witnesses for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
  • Advise management on settlement options and approaches, where appropriate, and participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and settlement negotiations
  • Provide leadership to the team, guiding and motivating legal assistants organizing and managing the investigation of asserted claims
  • Provide legal guidance to management and other internal stakeholders on litigation trends, defense strategies, and servicing compliance issues
  • Collaborate with other corporate attorneys to ensure servicing practices align with applicable laws, regulations, and investor/insurer guidelines
  • Track and report on litigation metrics and emerging legal risks

What You Bring

 Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Experience:

 Licensing:

  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar

  Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and manage a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with ability to think creatively and balance business objectives and legal risks
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage a broad portfolio of pending matters
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet  strict deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-past environment

*This position is on-site in Oklahoma City and some travel may be required.
