Subpoena Clerk/Corporate Legal Assistant

We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Subpoena Clerk/Corporate Legal Assistant. In this position, you'll play a vital role in supporting our med/legal team by handling subpoena requests, compiling documents for depositions, assisting with Medical Records calls and requests, and ensuring the secure transmission of electronic records. **Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Assist with retrieving and compiling relevant records for subpoena requests.
• Compile all necessary documentation for depositions.
• Provide support for Medical Records calls and requests.
• Verify and securely send electronic records via fax or email to referring entities.
• Assist in implementing legislative/regulatory changes to contracts.
• Support legal proceedings such as litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
• Maintain company licenses and intellectual property records.
• Aid in drafting, filing, and managing various business entity documents.
• Manage incoming calls and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all medical record information.
• Perform general administrative tasks including typing, photocopying, and mailing.

What we need from you:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a legal or medical records setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules & regulations preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
