Requirements:
- Must be licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in employment law, with a strong preference for candidates with prior employment litigation experience, particularly on the management side.
- Experience in employment counseling or in-house employment law is preferred.
Role Description:
- The successful candidate will engage in various aspects of labor and employment law, providing sophisticated legal services to a diverse client base.
- Responsibilities include extensive interaction with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel.
- Tasks include drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions.
