The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (MCAO) is now accepting applications from law school graduates interested in participating in the newly enacted Arizona Lawyer Apprentice Program (ALAP).
To be eligible for a position in this program, applicants must meet all conditions outlined in the Arizona Supreme Court’s Administrative Order no. 2024-148 which includes a score on the Uniform Bar Exam between 260 and 269. To be eligible for full membership in the State Bar, a lawyer apprentice must successfully complete 24 months of employment with an eligible employer.
Applicants hired into this position will work as a lawyer apprentice in a full-time Prosecutor I position for a 24-month supervisory period.
