About the Internship
The Johnson Outdoors Summer Internship Program is a paid, handsâon experience designed for college students and recent grads who want to apply what they learn in the classroom to realâworld business challenges.
ð Location: Racine, WI (Lake Michigan views included)
ð Schedule: ~24 hours/week (Tues/Wed/Thurs)

Timing: May or June 2026 through August 2026
ð¼ Status: Temporary internship (not benefitsâeligible)
You won’t be a “shadow intern.” Our interns are treated like true team members — contributing to real projects, learning from professionals, and gaining exposure to how a global outdoor company operates.
What You’ll Do
As a Legal Intern, you’ll support our Legal team with meaningful work that keeps the business running smoothly and responsibly:
- Help organize, maintain, and file legal documentation related to contracts, patents, trademarks, and corporate entities
- Review and analyze documentation to improve record retention, filing, and accessibility
- Assist with legal research and documentation review that informs future business decisions
- Support dayâtoâday legal operations during the summer, helping the team stay organized and efficient
This role is ideal if you enjoy structure, problemâsolving, and learning how legal operations support innovation and sustainability in business.
What We’re Looking For
- Current college student or recent graduate (preferred majors: Legal Studies or Business Administration)
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks while paying attention to details
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office
- Respect for confidentiality and professionalism
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
