
Job Description
Position: Temp Estate Planning/ Real Estate Paralegal
Duration: 5+ months with potential Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and external parties.
- Utilize paralegal experience to assist attorneys in estate planning matters.
- Review and interpret financial documents, including bank statements and brokerage reports.
- Address complex client inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Coordinate with external vendors to gather necessary data and asset information.
- Collaborate with external vendors to collect essential data and asset information.
- Prepare estate tax returns with meticulous attention to detail.
- Consistently meet deadlines efficiently.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal in trust and estate planning (preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial and brokerage reports.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at proofreading.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Capable of analyzing information to provide high-quality client service.
Additional Details:
- This position is onsite, with eligibility for one hybrid workday after six months.
