Receptionist / Legal Support Clerk Job Details:
Put your legal and organizational skills to work at Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Western United States. We currently have an opening for a full-time Receptionist / Legal Support Clerk in our Dallas office.
This is a fully in-office role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
If you are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term career growth, we encourage you to apply. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational, proofreading, and multitasking skills, along with a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain office calendars and initiate all catering orders
- Assist in coordinating office events, meetings, and conferences
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing expense requests and reimbursements
- Assist with the billing process using accounting software
- Perform conflict checks, open new client matters, and send out engagement letters
- Ensure that all documents have been proofread, edited and revised as necessary
- Electronically file documents into the firm’s document management system
- Complete runs for supplies and drops at the post office as needed
- Prepare binders, mailings, and complete printing projects accurately and efficiently
- Answer all phone calls promptly and courteously and take accurate and complete messages
- Communicate clearly, tactfully, and professionally with all attorneys, staff, and visitors of the office
- Maintain confidentiality of clients and demonstrate professional behavior and judgment
Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in an office professional environment; legal experience preferred, but not required
- Requires basic skills using Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent proofing and editing skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
