This position is based in our Orlando office.
Description:
We are seeking a Portfolio Management Specialist to join our team. The Portfolio Manage Specialist will assist paralegals, attorneys and practice groups with the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and file the initial pleadings corresponding to bankruptcy and other matters.
- Monitor, respond and prepare required pleading for all on-going cases until they are closed.
- Assist with billing for specific clients as needed.
- Perform conflict checks as needed.
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years previous experience in related practice area.
- General knowledge of the administrative aspects of litigation proceedings.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the clients.
- Microsoft Office; database management skills a plus.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
