Answers and screens telephone calls, direct callers and assists the general public.
Updates law library
Responsible for daily jail & bail functions (pulling criminal referrals into Protect, overseeing the necessity of getting complaints completed, obtaining signatures from law enforcement and sending documents to CCAP all within a daily deadline)
Assists legal assistants with sending out electronic discovery and invoices to defense attorneys.
Pull through eCitations into Protect
Pull through eReferrals into Protect
Request reports
Scan Search Warrants, Riversides and Media Request forms into system
Updates arrest and conviction card
Daily Court runs (i.e. delivering and picking up court documents from other departments)
Daily mail (i.e. delivering and sorting mail)
Training and Experience:
High school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in the legal field is preferable.
