The Conflicts Attorney will be responsible for assisting with the review, identification and resolution of any potential conflicts issues with respect to clients, matters, as well as new hires. The Conflicts Attorney will be actively following-up on conflicts clearance with all responsible parties handling new engagements. The Conflicts Attorney will also be conducting comprehensive, daily reviews of firm conflicts of interest reports, resolving any identified issues in a timely manner.
This position is available as a fully remote opportunity. The daily hours for this role are 9:30am - 6:30pm (PST).
Key Responsibilities
• Review and provide thorough and timely analysis of all Firm new business in order to identify ethical and business conflicts of interest
• Utilize available internal and external databases, communication with Partners, other lawyers and business services colleagues to follow up on and resolve all potential conflicts of interest
• Maintain thorough, accurate and current records of all conflicts resolutions in database to ensure integrity of the database and assist in identification and clearing of future conflicts of interest
• Assisting Executive Assistants, lawyers and staff in understanding the Firm’s new matter intake, conflicts, Anti Money Laundering, and other compliance procedures

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and capability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization in various functions and locations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and spoken
• Proven ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
• Familiar with standard technology environments
• Able to collaborate or work autonomously as needed
Requirements
• Juris Doctor degree required
• 1+ year of experience preferred
The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $116,875 - $158,125 per yearAustin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $105,400 - $142,600 per yearSalt Lake City and all other locations: $93,500 - $126,500 per yearThe compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
