This is a hybrid remote position requiring a minimum of two onsite days per week at our Columbia Pike location. This requirement is non-negotiable and ensures collaboration, team connection, and access to resources critical to the success of this role.

We are actively seeking a Litigation & Debt Recovery Specialist to join our branch teamThe primary function of this position is to manage delinquent accounts, identify potential solutions to prevent financial losses and ensure compliance with bankruptcy laws and regulations. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios while maintaining empathy and professionalism. This position plays a vital role by ensuring the assets of ACFCU are properly protected.


What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in debt collection, loss mitigation and bankruptcy processing.  
  • Knowledge of foreclosure process required. 
  •  Ability to function independently, exercising sound judgment on advanced collection principles. 
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Professional, PACER, e-Oscar, and Accurint. 
  • A working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and bankruptcy laws is required.
