Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation related to secured lending, including civil and title litigation, and bankruptcy matters
  • Draft discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions with precision and clarity
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
  • Conduct depositions and court appearances with thorough preparation and confidence
  • Review title documents, foreclosure files, and respond to lender inquiries
  • Provide strategic analysis and budgeting within 24 hours of file intake
  • Support staff with legal guidance in a collaborative and approachable manner

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in mortgage-related litigation or other civil litigation
  • Strong legal writing and research skills (WestLaw/LexisNexis proficiency required)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently both remotely and in-office
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering a positive client experience

Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in office or remote position for experienced candidate
