Team-oriented and energetic attorney responsible for reviewing, negotiating and managing commercial contracts covering a wide range of disciplines. This position also provides legal guidance and support to departments within the corporate office as well as all domestic venues in order to serve one of the fastest growing sports entertainment companies in the U.S.
Job Responsibilities- Assume primary role in reviewing, negotiating and managing company contracts originating from the venues, home offices, and other Topgolf brands within the company. (50%)
- Provide guidance to the business teams regarding contract matters, advertising, and marketing. (30%)
- Coordinate with outside legal counsel as needed to review, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors. (5%)
- Update and improve existing contract procedures and templates as needed. (5%)
- Ensure that fully executed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness. (5%)
- Execute other projects and duties within the Legal Department as required. (5%)
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
- Law firm and/or in-house experience (3+ years)
- Experience in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and negotiate persuasively
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Customer service driven and detail oriented
- Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment
- Contract management database experience is a plus
