Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Legal Project Management will lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of legal projects that advance the company’s operational and technology strategy. This role is central to ensuring the Legal Department operates efficiently, delivers value to the business, and maintains a high standard of compliance and client service.
Acting as a strategic partner and subject matter expert, the Senior Manager will drive the adoption of project management methodologies, implement legal technology solutions, and foster cross-functional collaboration between Legal and other corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead legal project management initiatives that support strategic objectives, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of legal services.
- Develop and oversee project plans, including scoping, budgeting, risk management, and progress reporting.
- Champion the use of legal technology platforms, such as matter management, e-billing, contract lifecycle management, and workflow automation tools.
- Collaborate closely with internal business units (e.g., Finance, IT, Compliance, Procurement) to align legal processes with broader corporate goals.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, service quality, and financial health of legal operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements that streamline workflows, reduce cost, and enhance transparency.
- Provide training and guidance on project management principles to attorneys, paralegals, and business stakeholders.
- Act as a change agent for continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the Legal Department.
- Manage vendor relationships, including external counsel and technology providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree or certification (JD, MBA, Paralegal Certificate, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma) preferred.
Experience
- 8–10+ years of relevant experience in legal operations, project management, or corporate legal environments.
- Demonstrated success in implementing technology solutions and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, financial management, and compliance requirements in a corporate setting.
Skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across departments.
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret data to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate value.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- High degree of business acumen, capable of aligning legal strategy with enterprise objectives.

Salary Pay Range
Minimum - Maximum:
$91,070.00 - $169,130.00Pay Transparency Statement: Strada considers a variety of factors in determining whether to extend an offer of employment and in setting the appropriate compensation level, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography. Strada makes these decisions on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Bonus and/or incentive eligibility are determined by role and level.
