Our fast-paced litigation law firm seeks a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Asset Recovery Specialist to join our toll violation and collections team. The ideal candidate will support asset enforcement efforts by locating individuals, businesses, and assets using advanced skip tracing techniques and data platforms. This position requires proficiency in both batch processing and individual investigations, strong negotiation skills, and advanced knowledge of Excel and collections software.
Key Responsibilities:-
Conduct skip tracing and asset investigations to locate businesses, individuals, and assets related to toll violation matters.

Utilize data platforms such as TLOxp, LexisNexis, Microbilt, and RNN to develop actionable intelligence.

Operate within Simplicity Collect to document research, manage files, and track outcomes.

Process batch services and manage individual service of process tasks for enforcement.

Analyze financial data and case histories to assess asset viability and potential for recovery.

Negotiate payment plans, settlements, or resolution of outstanding balances with individuals and business owners.

Collaborate with the legal and collections teams to support enforcement strategies, including garnishments, bank restraints, and subpoenas.

Generate detailed tracking reports and spreadsheets in Excel for internal and client use.

Maintain accurate and timely records of skip tracing results, communications, and negotiations.

2+ years of experience in legal collections, asset recovery, or debt enforcement (law firm or agency background preferred).

Proven ability to negotiate resolutions with account holders while remaining compliant with firm and legal standards.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, etc.).

Experience with TLOxp, LexisNexis, RNN, Microbilt, and Simplicity Collect or similar systems.

Strong research, investigative, and communication abilities.

Highly organized and comfortable working across multiple files simultaneously.

Familiarity with legal enforcement actions and court-based collections is a plus.

Background in toll collection or transportation-related enforcement.

Understanding of post-judgment collection methods such as income executions, bank levies, and asset freezes.

Client communication or case resolution experience a plus.
