Job Description

Marr Law Firm is a high-volume, fast-paced real estate law firm dedicated to providing exceptional closing services to our clients.  Our team prides itself on accuracy, efficiency, and excellent client communication from contract to closing.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Pre-Closer to join our team. The Pre-Closer will manage files from contract to closing, ensuring all documents and requirements are in place for a smooth and timely closing process. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and strong communication with clients, agents, lenders, and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review contracts and opening files to ensure all necessary documents are received and accurate.
  • Order and track title searches, payoffs, HOA estoppels, and other required items.
  • Communicate with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout the pre-closing process.
  • Maintain closing checklists and timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Resolve title and document issues prior to closing.
  • Coordinate with underwriters, attorneys, and closers to ensure files are complete and compliant.
  • Update case management software and maintain organized electronic files.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Pre-Closer, Closing Assistant, or in a related real estate or title position (required).
  • Strong understanding of real estate contracts, title commitments, and closing processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with title and closing software, Microsoft Office Suite, Qualia and document management systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Georgia real estate law (or applicable state laws).
  • Knowledge of Florida real estate law is beneficial.
  • Experience working with high-volume transactions.
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus.
