Job Description

Boutique San Francisco based law firm specializing in Public Finance is seeking a paralegal to join their team.

The firm serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel in bond financings. Clients include governmental agencies of all sizes and this is a really exciting opportunity to join a young and nimble, growing firm, on the ground floor.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Be organized; have excellent time/project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Be detail oriented
Have strong verbal and written communication skills

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Drafting engagement letters, legal opinions, resolutions, bond disclosures, closing certificates, and other documents, for attorney review
Assisting attorneys with review of bond disclosures
Corresponding with clients and other transaction participants, via email and phone
Coordinating public notice publications
Circulating and collecting signature pages for transaction closings
Handling legal/regulatory filings
Assembling pre-closing data rooms, and, as needed, pre-closing binders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree is preferred. This role is fully remote, living in the San Francisco Bay Area is a plus, but stellar candidates outside the Bay Area will be considered.
