The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a Law Group with several areas of practice to hire an Associate Attorney. Practice Areas include Employment Law, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Real Estate Law, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cases from pre-litigation through settlement.If you have experience scaling a firm’s practice to service the ever-growing number of Californians who have been treated unfairly, Please Apply!
Daily Tasks:
- Management of cases from pre-litigation through settlement, with the support of a strong staff and advanced automated systems that optimize case efficiency (including CompuLaw, NetDocuments, Clio, and others)
- Deposition experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent research and writing skills required
- Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
Your Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in litigation.
- Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Experience with employment disputes including wrongful terminations, FEHA claims, labor code violations, PAGA and wage and hour claims.
- $150,000 - $175,000
