The Intern for Legal Administration will work with the court team to provide specialized customer support, clerical and data entry work involving one or more docket areas within a court’s jurisdiction. The work requires administrative and organizational skills and strong attention to detail. ;
The internship program provides an opportunity for students to use their skills and knowledge in a practical setting and learn about the career opportunities available in the Judiciary and the criminal justice field. We are focused on college students who have completed 30+ credits toward an associate or bachelor's degree. The Vermont Judiciary internships are great opportunity for students to learn the basics about the state court system. ;
Internships will be in the following court locations: ;Bennington, Burlington, Chelsea, ;St. Albans, Rutland, Woodstock. ;

Minimum Requirements for Legal Administration Intern:
- High School graduation or equivalent
- College students who have completed 30+ credits, specifically those who finishing their 2nd year
This is a full-time 10-week internship program based at various courts in the state. We will work with candidates to identify the court location closest to their home. Salary is $19.20 per hour. This is a temporary position with no benefits. Housing is not provided, so you must be living in Vermont or have planned for housing to be in Vermont for the 10-week period.
