Job Description

We’ve opened a new office and we want you to join us!  We are actively searching for an experienced litigation Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Your confidence and communication skills will help you develop strong professional relationships with our team.

Job Responsibilities:  As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will work alongside attorneys and paralegals to ensure our clients receive best-is-class service.

Skills:

·         Prepare legal documents and correspondence

·         File documents in state and federal courts

·         Save documents and emails to iManage (document management system)

  •  Experience with obtaining documents from online court directories

·         Schedule meetings and other calendar commitments

  •  Calendaring legal due dates in CompuLaw

·         Make travel arrangements and process expense reports

·         Process client disbursements

·         Organize and maintain case files

 Qualifications:

·         Exceptional organizational skills

·         Exceptional computer skills 

·         Ability to work occasional overtime

·         Heavy computer use

Education and Experience:

·         Minimum of 5+ years of legal experience required

·         Civil Litigation experience required

  •  Knowledge of Pennsylvania Court system required

·         Demonstrated employment stability
