
Job Description
A highly regarded legal team is seeking an associate with 2-3 years of experience to join its Construction & Design practice in Seattle. This role involves advising public and private clients, including owners, contractors, and engineers, on a variety of construction-related legal matters, from project planning to dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal counsel on construction contracts, risk assessment, and claim management
- Represent clients in litigation and dispute resolution related to construction projects
- Work with stakeholders on government contracts and regulatory compliance
- Assist with contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute mitigation strategies
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance on construction-related matters
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- 2-3 years of experience in construction law, litigation, or government contracting
- Admission to the Washington State Bar
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and legal teams
- Salary range for Seattle applicants: $205,000 - $235,000, based on experience
