Duties Serves as an Inmate Classification & Computation Specialist (CCS) located within the Designations and Sentence Computation Center (DSCC). Responsible for sentence computations, inmate records, designations, administrative remedies and correspondence for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Responsible for Judgement and Commitment (J&C) files, sentence computations, complex release audits of computations, complex computation case audits, security and control of records, and initial inmate classifications for designations. Collects all necessary information from the U.S. District Court, U.S. Marshal Service and U.S. Probation Office needed or other authorities needed to request and provide designation and compute the inmate's sentences. Serves as a subject matter expert in the area of inmate release audits, sentence computations, and inmate classification, provides guidance and assistance to technicians and administrative support staff in the DSCC. Salary- $67,100 - $105,547/year
