Job Description

SUMMARY

Our Employment / Litigation Paralegal position is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, proactive paralegal to join a global, rapidly growing cybersecurity company . In this role, you will report to Wiz’s Employment Counsel, North America and support the global labor & employment legal function.  

LOCATION

We are focused on candidates in the East Coast time zone.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work closely with the global employment legal team on employment projects while being an integral part of the global legal team
  • Prepare and maintain relevant case related materials for litigation, agency charges, and disputes
  • Create, maintain, and update electronic case files
  • Assist in document collection and production
  • Support with and help manage eDiscovery process
  • Prepare, issue and manage Legal Hold Notices
  • Prepare internal trackers and reports for employment matters and litigation
  • Perform legal and factual research
  • Maintain and update employment document templates (e.g., offer letter templates, employment contract templates, termination letter templates)
  • Manage global employment team initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate proactively with cross functional partners when managing global employment team initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate with Legal Ops and external counsel to manage budgets and invoices for global employment matters
  • Prepare drafts, proofread documents, and create PowerPoint, Googleslide and other presentation materials
  • General legal project management and support of other legal matters
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience as a litigation and/or employment paralegal (law firm and/or corporate position).
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local court and administrative agency rules. 
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
  • Experience with employment litigation and administrative charges.
  • Strong knowledge of ediscovery process / technical aptitude a plus.
  • Knowledge of global employment laws and work in an international organization a plus.
  • Proficient with Google Suite preferred.
  • Experience with legal hold, litigation support, and matter management software 
  • Detail and process-oriented and able to identify opportunities for efficiencies
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
