Description of Task to be Performed:
Come join our growing team and make a difference every day! AnaVation is seeking an experienced Litigation Support Engineer to provide expert technical support for eDiscovery, forensic data management, and litigation-related IT services involving classified systems and environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support Clearwell, Relativity, and other eDiscovery platforms.
· Ensure secure and compliant access to case-related data across systems.
· Assist attorneys and investigators by translating technical evidence into legally admissible formats.
· Maintain documentation and chain-of-custody records.
· Coordinate with system admins to preserve and collect forensic data.
This position is full-time onsite in Washington, DC and cannot be supported remotely.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Business Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 8 years
- Required Skills/Certs:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing technical support for litigation support systems in a federal or legal environment.
- Experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Clearwell and Relativity.
- Familiarity with digital forensics, chain-of-custody procedures, and data preservation techniques.
- Strong understanding of federal litigation support workflows and data handling requirements.
- Experience working with classified environments and secure data management preferred.
- Ability to interface with legal teams, investigators, and IT staff to translate technical evidence into legally admissible formats. · Proficiency in managing large datasets, metadata extraction, and electronic document processing.
- Strong knowledge of file types, forensic imaging, and evidence review software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to independently produce high quality written reports.
- Required Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance required. Selected candidates will be required to obtain TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as EnCE, CCE, or relevant eDiscovery certifications preferred.
