Job Description

Offit Kurman, a nationally recognized Am Law 200 law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our Wilmington, Delaware office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation experience, with exposure to labor and employment matters considered a plus.

The attorney will have significant individual responsibilities in all aspects of commercial and employment litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated associate to gain meaningful, hands-on experience and grow their practice within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Types of matters will include, but are not limited to:

  • General commercial litigation
  • Breach of contract
  • Breach of fiduciary duty
  • Employment discrimination
  • Wage and hour disputes

Responsibilities:

  • Handling written discovery and document review
  • Preparing and arguing motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Conducting legal research and writing on complex litigation issues

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of litigation experience
  • Delaware Bar admission is required
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey Bar is a plus, but not required
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
