Franklin Thomas, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust and Estates Paralegal to join our team in Palm Beach, FL.

As a Trust and Estates Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of trust and estate administration. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Assisting attorneys in the preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for trust and estate matters

- Drafting correspondence and legal documents related to trust and estate administration

- Managing and organizing client files and documents

- Communicating with clients, financial institutions, and other parties involved in trust and estate matters

- Assisting with the administration of trusts and estates, including asset transfers, tax filings, and accountings

- Maintaining accurate records and tracking deadlines for trust and estate matters

- Assisting with the preparation of court filings and attending hearings as necessary

- Keeping up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to trusts and estates

- Collaborating with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure efficient and effective workflow

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5 years of experience as a Trust and Estates Paralegal, with a strong understanding of trust and estate administration processes. A paralegal certificate or degree is preferred, but not required. Additionally, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficiency in legal research and writing

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software

- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to trusts and estates

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
