What is your impact?

Are you ready to shape the future of energy infrastructure through strategic legal leadership? LinxonAmericas is seeking a seasoned in-house Legal Counsel to support our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) operations across the region. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role is ideal for a senior attorney (15+ years) with deep expertise in construction law, litigation, and multinational corporate environments. You’ll lead contract and claim management across utility-scale grid projects, guide negotiations, resolve disputes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial success.

What will you do?

Lead Legal Support Across the Business: Advise on a wide range of legal matters, with a strong focus on contract and claims management, subcontracting strategies, and dispute resolution for complex infrastructure projects.


Contract Risk Analysis & Strategy: Review and interpret EPC contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements to ensure alignment with corporate policies and to identify and mitigate commercial and legal risks.


Training & Knowledge Sharing: Deliver targeted training sessions on Linxon’s internal regulations, legal framework, and commercial principles to empower teams and strengthen compliance.


Integrity & Compliance Oversight: Support investigations and provide guidance on integrity-related matters, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and corporate governance.


Commercial Risk Advisory: Offer clear, actionable legal opinions on project risks and commercial issues, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.


Negotiation Leadership: Actively participate in negotiations with clients, joint venture partners, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring Linxon’s interests are protected, and deals are structured for success.


Legal Interpretation & Protection: Interpret laws, regulations, and legal documents to safeguard Linxon’s business interests and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.


Policy Implementation & Monitoring: Support the rollout and enforcement of corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain operational integrity.


External Counsel Management: Oversee external legal teams in arbitration and litigation matters, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with Linxon’s strategic goals.

Who you are?

Education & Credentials: Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school and active membership in good standing with a bar association in one of the fifty U.S. states.


Industry Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting utility construction projects or clients in heavy industrial manufacturing—especially in power systems.


Multilingual Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English; professional proficiency in Spanish is a strong asset, and additional languages are a plus.


Collaborative Mindset: A team player who thrives in fast-paced, multilingual, and multidisciplinary environments.


Strategic Communicator: Skilled in crafting and executing communication plans that support broader business objectives.
