Responsibilities
- You will provide technical and specialized professional and administrative duties for assigned investigative units, including preparing case folders, letters, and other documentation.
- You will manage and direct the procurement and contracting for goods and services for OIE, including creating and completing shopping cart requests.
- You will serve as the human resources liaison and time and leave administrator for OIE and assist with the coordination and registration of training and travel.
- You will perform various administrative activities to support complaint analysts including uploading and scanning complaints, correspondence, and documentation into applicable systems.
- You will prepare correspondence, memorandums, forms, and other documents to assist OIE leadership and will prepare and maintain reports, summaries, and data related to OIE activities.
- You will perform other professional and administrative duties including, but not limited to, scheduling and coordinating meetings, responding to customer inquiries, receiving and distributing mail, and records retention.
- Minimum and Additional Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services (a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of principles and practices of office management and general administrative functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow complex instructions.
- Considerable skill in the use of office equipment, computers, and Microsoft products.
Other Requirements
- Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
- Occasional work outside of normal office hours.
- May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
