
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Global Litigation & Investigations. The successful candidate will support the legal department in managing a variety of litigation, including product liability, commercial disputes, labor and employment, and regulatory matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review and preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct research and gather relevant information to support litigation matters including but not limited to document and information requests.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
- Coordinate the Company’s defenses with outside counsel, experts, and witnesses.
- Assist with internal reporting of litigation matters, including monthly and quarterly reports.
- Handle intake of all new claims and lawsuits.
- Assist with due diligence associated with litigation in the event of an acquisition or divestiture.
- Prepare and manage litigation holds.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Become an expert on all things Regal Rexnord, including its history of acquisitions and divestitures, liabilities, its family of companies, and its product lines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a corporate legal department or large law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling product liability and commercial litigation cases.
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
