The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in writing and experienced in translating complex immigration documents into accessible, compelling, and relevant content for immigration visa petitions.

How will you make a difference as a Senior Business Immigration Analyst (Writer) at Fragomen?

  • Research, analyze, and write complex business immigration cases
  • Perform tasks related to case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies including drafting government forms, writing detailed persuasive letters, maintaining files, reviewing documents, identifying issues, and communicating with clients where necessary.
  • Develop knowledge of the firm, various immigration case types and client processes.
  • Apply excellent proofreading and editing skills to case-writing content and other materials.
  • Work independently and manage multiple writing projects simultaneously.
  • Meet assigned deadlines that adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and communicate case progress, status, escalations to supervisor.
  • Work closely with members of the legal team to ensure the accuracy of all information.
  • Maintain client contact information.
  • File documents in proper order.
  • Update case management system.
  • Follow documented firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational and client compliance (e.g., following Data Privacy protocols, using Connect accurately and in line with team and client protocols, etc.).

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree, in Creative Writing, English, Journalism, or writing related field
  • At least two years of business immigration writing experience
  • Excellent writing and research skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor
  • A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines
  • Desire to contribute to positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork

Compensation:

The salary range for this role takes into account many factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors noted.

A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work a hybrid schedule in the office locally is:

$63,000.00 - $72,000.00

All offers and/or employment contracts are contingent upon the successful completion of the Firm’s pre-employment screening process.
