Job Description
Serves as a senior attorney with the Public Defender’s Office. May serve as the Deputy Public Defender for a county Public Defender Office in the Circuit.
Positions in this class handle generally complex or difficult matters with limited supervision. Positions may supervise a legal staff or section.
Requires Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Must possess and maintain current membership in the S.C. Bar Association.
